CCRA - we had a social net, 3 people checked in. This is approved by the CCRA. We are taking suggestions for topics for the social net.

Osciloscope - we have a manual ! It's on the HF computer.

K-Day -> really means spring fling

Spring Fling - we don't appear to have enough interest to have people present to run a booth

Scope - if anyone is interested in knowing more about the scope let us know, and we will teach you.

Senior Walk - Jack On the 25th at about noon everyone is going to go out and get pickled, everyone else is going to go and park out on the road, if the people cause any problems we report them.

Bridgefest parade - June 15th UP Firemens Parade Commercial Parade Saturday We could also use some people to work this parade

Brockway Trip Did we want to do 2meter, or HF ? We had an idea concerning building a yaghi This is probably going to be the weekend before finals

Party - Going away for James / Ben . We have $36 for pizza hut ~ $30 for subway Some money for social fund Next Thursday we are going to have a party.

There is a boyscout thing on Saturday. We need to get some people involved to help with the badge day.

Michigan QSO party, it's on the 19th from noon until midnight.meeting called to order 8:02 4-3-08

Kyles talk with Brenda Arcadian Tower - they dont' want us to spray internet to the whole county tech has some issues with thier internet provider (merit)

They were cool with it if it will be operating it in the amateur bands.

If we run 2.3 there is a band open in the plan that we could probably use. Why not use comercial equipment on the European band

If we used the HAM band and restricted it they were fine with it.

What are we going to use it for?

Part of this is to setup a dumb gateway and ensure that there is no encrypted traffic. What applications are available for for the application. SARS

Could we use the space on arcadia to link up our repeater?

If we don't connect to it they don't care what we do with it.

What can we do with the hunk of tower?

We aren't sure what IT will think of using this for a pure ham voice applications.

Maybe we could propose this to the list and see what happens. Maybe look into dstar

Local HF NET

Somehow make an HF / VHF net

Kyle thinks it'd be cool to have a social net

The idea of the current net is to ensure people know how to make things work.

There is someone who wants to have something like a chat net on 2Meter

How many people like the webcam?

We like it but we don't want to pay for it.

We talked about ITS messsages

Meeting 3-27-08

We are getting an ociloscope from IEEE

Meeting called to order 8:03PM

We met with Telecom yesterday and they told us to stop telling people we would give them free internet. They are perfectly fine with keeping it among the HARC group. Amateurs only.

Once you become an affiliated club ARRL doesn't take your membership away.

We are unsure how we are going to get funding now that it is just the club. Some of the cards are capable of switching to HAM bands.

How much would one of the boxes cost to run a 900 MHZ system. Fred Anderson in MQ is a motorla dealer he may be able to help us out.

We talked about DSTAR and digital ham radio.
